Thinking through racialization and colonialism on what is now Canada’s West Coast requires a recognition of Indigenous, Black, and immigrant of colour histories of the region. In alignment and solidarity with self-determination movements, we acknowledge that the campus is located in Vancouver , BC, Canada on unceded, traditional and occupied Musqueam, Coast Salish lands. It also requires attention to the continued efforts of activists, non-profit organizations, fundraisers, and other members of the community who engage in decolonial practices in and around Vancouver.
